On folding handlebars and adjustable stems

I've found this possible headset candidate for my future Cruzbike conversion folder project. Provided stock handlebar is unsuitable.

The entire system can be rotated through the various points to improve on knee clearance. The handlebar shape looks good enough to help get more knee clearance.

The handlebars turn 90 degrees to the side when a key is inserted (it's also a security measure) improving compactness. There's a video here showing the turn:

The image above also shows a cable lock which adds to security.

A bit taken aback by the high price of handlebars, but I guess it is to be expected. Learning as I go along.

I hope the locking pin is large and super strong !

Your steering, your safety , in traffic your life really , all dependent on a retractable locking pin.

Good point. Especially when first learning, many riders put more stress on the handlebar/stem/steering tube interface than they would on a non-MBB bike. That might be a consideration.
