I had these wheels built at Conte Bicycles in Alexandria VA for the Silvio I just sold. So this wheelset is orphaned.

Stans no tubes Arch EX rims. DT Swiss spokes. Drive hub is Wheeltech 6 bolt disc 8/9/10 speed 130mm drop out spacing with a 10 speed 11 to 36 tooth cassette. Non drive hub is a Shimano Deore XT 100mm spacing. Comes with a pair or Deore XT QR skewers. Cost me $620 to build asking $300.

I'm too far away in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada but for my curiosity and more exposure, what type of riding / intended use were these built for? I wish I was closer.

Built this wheelset up intending to commute on a Silvio 2.0. Wheelset has 559 rims that allow fatter tires. Rims are tubeless for reduced flats exposure (frequency of flat * required remediation). Bought a QX100 instead so no longer need.

I built these to put 35-40mm tires and winter tires on a Silvio 2.0. They will also fit q - series 559s.

@Crog Welly do you know the construction of these rims? They are aluminum right? At the jointDo they have steel pins or are they Al welded?

They are welded. Designed to be xc mtb rims. Which are a good candidate for commuting or touring.
