I would LOVE to get a closer

I would LOVE to get a closer look at that setup in the 1st pic?
I see some fairing-type additions to that - is that Charlie? - looks pretty sweet!

Looks similar to one of John

Looks similar to one of John Tolhurst's skunkworks ideas but this looks like it might be a bit better balanced although Charlie's hands seem kind of high.

It also looks like a custom carbon fiber frame with the Vendetta front triangle. I'd be curious to know what effect that splitter plate does. Seems like JT experimented with something sort of like that or talked about it at some point.

Hmm - interesting - seat

Hmm - interesting - seat angle looks to be less than the Vendetta 20 degrees, unless camera/picture angle is creating optical illusion.

Recumbent results across races

These results are still unofficial I believe. Looks like Charlie did the 12 Hour. Definitely hilly terrain based on the overall average speeds.

Carbon Vendetta in the works?

I'd venture to say that the frame in question is a carbon prototype made in the same facility as the Schlitter Encore. If so, that could be very promising in that a new, lower-priced Vendetta could be on the horizon. Fingers crossed.

Andrew, I'm pretty sure Thom

Andrew, I'm pretty sure Thom has been building stuff for years so I would suspect he and Charlie are just exploring different, um, various tweaks.

That is correct Eric.

It is a custom built aluminum frame with Cruzbike front end and custom bars too. Charlie did all the design and welding according to Dad. Still tweaking a little but very comfy bike. I didn't ride it but did have an opportunity to sit on it whilst Charlie was taking a much needed break. Hopefully they will also chime in here with more details.
