Potential Vendetta buyer seeks information .....

Hi,

I'm trying to get a handle on the weight of a Vendetta if I buy and build it up from my existing road bike components. The Cruzbike website is fairly specific about the weight of the Silvio framekit but not so on the Vendetta page, which states only that (obviously) the final machine weight will depend on the kit attached to it.

I've tried asking Cruzbikes direct but in vain; the closest I've got is that: "?I believe the Vendetta frameset weighs about 15 pounds, but I'm not sure on that" and I'd like to be more specific, added to which this figure is actually higher than the equivalent quoted on the website for the Silvio viz.: "6.5 kg (14 lbs)" which contradicts my understanding that the Vendetta is actually lilghter than the Silvio.

Separately, if there are any UK owners out there who might share their experiences of the Vendetta, I'd be very pleased to make contact.

my S2.0 is 25.5 Lbs incl

my S2.0 is 25.5 Lbs incl pedals (on the bathroom scale) - mainly ultegra with a 1500 gram wheelset.
23 Lbs for a V2.0 should be easily achievable with ultegra / force level componentry.

Vendetta Sizes

I am also considering a Vendetta and am confused about the frame size/sizes. The web site lists the frame as fitting X-Seams 36 to 51 inches. Another post refers to a medium sized Vendetta. Are there different frame sizes for the Vendetta or is one size adjustable to fit a wide range of riders?

There are three combinations

There are three combinations of front triangle - small, medium, and large along with the main frame.

Note the sizing chart based on xseam.

Generally, you will be picking the medium or large, even if you think you need a small as it is for really small people. No offense to really small people.

If you are at the low end for the medium and verging on where the size chart suggests a small you will most likely still want to get the medium and just trim the end of the slider, if needed. It is very easy to trim - just don't trim too much!
