Pro tip - if you are having some shifting or brake rub, particularly on the front drive wheel, before making a bunch of DR adjustment or turning a single screw - check to make sure your thru-axle is tight!
Over time the drive wheel on a through axle bike can loosen a bit, and that will separate the stay and fork just a hair, causing the fork to loosen its grip a bit. This allows the wheel to then float a bit on the through axle, (and therefore creating some odd gaps between the DR attached to the stay/hanger and the cassette on the wheel) and even just a small bit can cause indexing issues and ghost shifting.
This is not a Cruzbike problem only - thru-axle MTBs and other thru-axle bikes are suspect to this.
I recommend just reaching down to check those axles every other ride or so - it is a good habit to get into the safety and just overall road-check before a ride.
