Q45 Shock issues

I had my Q45 out on a rough gravel ride and the shock appears to have leaked out a lot of oil. I have read most of the posts on the Q45 shocks, but have not heard of this issue before. Before i tear the bike apart I wonder if anyone else has this issue?

Is the shock re-buildable? If not is there a consensus on what shock to replace it with? I thought about the solid bar but on the rougher roads I ride this is not a good option.

I have read Most of the threads about the issues with the shocks and found no answers. Any ideas are appreciated.

The shock is not really rebuildable - most of these bike parts are no longer "serviceable" like old stuff was.
Definitely a replacement is in order. We *might have some spare replacement Q shocks that we can sell you one - but email Katie at support@cruzbike.com to be sure. Let her know I sent you...
