Where can I get a stem quick release?

No, I didn't loose it. The Quest comes with two, but the guy who sold me his Quest said it came with only one and now it is my problem to get the second one.
Of course I can use a bolt and nut, but then the purpose of being simple to disassemble is not met; I'll need two tools, one to hold the nut and another one to drive the head.
I tried some seat post quick releases but all of them work with the lever at 90 degrees with the screw, and for the Quest stem they have to be almost parallel.

Ahh, it also came without pedals. I wonder which technique the guy used to ride without pedals ...

Besides that, and some scratches, the bike is in pristine conditions, as it was never ridden.

On our quests those are annoying. They chew up the legs of smaller riders, and we don't need to quickly disassemble the bikes. I'm going to be replacing 4 of those quick releases with bolts once I figure out which parts I need. You are welcome to 1 of the remnants. Drop me a line in the private message and we can exchange details.

If anyone else has figured out good bolt replacement please share you insights.

good bolt replacement

PM sent.

The old stem clamp which used a bolt was simpler, since no nut was required. With this quick release there is no thread in the clamp, and you will need a nut.

What you can do is use just the inside of the quick release as a nut. Fully unscrew the bolt, remove the inside of the quick release and screw the bolt again just to the piece which was inside, discarding the lever. The inner piece will serve as a nut and since it is a cylinder, will have a good fit to the stem clamp.

You will end up with 4 levers without the inner pieces and the screws. Send me one of the levers and I'll have one inside piece made for me using the quick release I have as a model.
