Question for people with suspension headrest

Hi,
I have a Thor seat on S40 and am trying to fit a headrest to it. I have had various iterations.

For the people who have the Cruzbike Suspension headrests, I am wondering if the Cruzbike suspension headrest can be bent forward more. I think if it's made of aluminum, then it really can't be bent. The reason is that there is a big gap between the seat back and the tubing that I don't know if the suspension headrest can reach without bending it forward more. Attached is a picture of current setup with yoga pads. :) The gap from the tubing to my neck is about 2 inches.

If you don't want to use the Adem (like I have on my V20) or other similar headrests, you may consider the Performance Adjustable Headrest along with Suspension Adjustable Headrest.

I have a Thor seat coming for my S40, along with his Neckrest Comfort, so I'll share my experience then.

I am interested in people's feedback about the Cruzbike Suspension Adjustable Headrest. I want to know if it can bent forward enough to use in conjunction with the Thor seat. I think the headrest was designed to work with the stock seat, where rider's head pretty much rests on the tubing part as opposed to Thor seat.

It's a one piece that fits to the stock headrest with the bracket extending almost vertically. And at the top you have two philips screws which attach the suspension headrest to the bracket (hope that makes sense).

Can it be bent forward, yeah it could, would you want to, not sure.

What Matthew says is a viable option, the suspension headrest can be fitted to the performance headrest. And given that you can adjust the performance headrest it might be a more viable option.

And my experience with the headrest has been gold. I found myself sitting with my head slightly forward when riding my S40, the suspension headrest is just right and works well.

I too use the suspension headrest Beano. The screw holes in plastic backing plate that attaches the headrest to the metal plate had been reamed out a bit too much, probably from being mounted and dismounted multiple times. So, I glued it onto the metal plate and it will stay there until it needs replacing. A paint scraper will work well to remove the old sponge material and I'll reglue another sponge on it, then cover it with the original black material if it doesn't look or smell too bad.
As far as bending it, I think you are right though. It will probably break. What you might be able to do to reduce that gap is to head to the DIY store to find a suitable material to put on the plastic plate. Plywood would work in a pinch, but I am sure you can come across something that will work.

Hi @Beano , I am just wondering if you can measure the distance from the tubing to the headrest surface for me. I used your picture and drew a few lines to illustrate. I just wanted to see how far it sticks out. Thanks.
