QX100 Touring and Commuting Rack Extendors

Hi guys,

I've been riding my new QX100 for over a month now and I have lowered the seat angle back to about 30 degrees (maybe even less than that) by reversing the seat post direction. This works good and the seat post isn't touching the back wheel since I'm using an air shock with high pressure which moves barely millimeters so it clears the back wheel but the problem I have is the rack won't fit now because of the low seat angle. I did see in some of the videos that the first models came with (what seemed to me) black plastic (can be metal too, it's hard to tell from the video) extenders, these extenders would provide me the length I need to mount the Touring Rack with the seat post inverted and seat back a such a low angle - but I can't seem to find these extenders anywhere. Do you have any idea how I can get a hold of these?

Those extenders were provided for the early version of the rack. The recent version has a longer arm so the extenders are not needed to attach the rack except in your case with the seat back angle set lower... maybe some extenders may be available. Or find brackets at hardware store or online:

Thanks, I was hoping the extenders were available but if not, I will probably go for your idea and purchase some brackets and test them out.
