There should be a "rubber" type of insert provided (usually installed) that should help hold the bottles in place. The standard bottle that is 3" in diameter should be the one used. If a smaller diameter bottle is placed in the hole it will mostly likely bounced outI just mounted a Race case on my V20. After a couple rides the water bottles pop out when going over speed humps. Any ideas on a fix or is the race case missing something
I no longer use the race case for water bottles for that reason. I've launched too many. I know some people have had success with adding tape to their bottles for increased friction.I just mounted a Race case on my V20. Contact Robert@Cruzbike.com - He should be able to replace it for you - as they have had problems with them coming apart at the seamsHave any issue with it breaking? I kept having the door fall off each time I opened it although once closed it stays closed just when I come to a stop and need my phone or whatever the door falls off. After my last ride I took the case off the bike to have a better look and maybe see why the door comes off and if I could attach it better.
When I did that I noticed that the back of the brace that is used to mount to the headrest has cracked. Anybody have issues with this?

A thin yoga mat or other cushion to quiet things would help with that. I think extra weight will still bounce.I wish I had read this before I ordered my race case... It looks great, but it does rattle a bit. I was thinking of adding a light weight filler to keep tools (etc) from bouncing around...
