I too am inspired by the Parkers exploits. My plans so far are to ride the 100 mile distance at the Tour de Palm Springs in Febuary 2012, then the spring Death Vally Century in March, and on to break Jim's record at the TTT next fall.
I currently have a Silvio with 105 compact gearing and Kysrium Sl wheels, so am not quite in the Vendetta group, but will over train to compensate
Any bike shop owners wanting to drum up interest in a Vendetta would be welcome to provide me with one to do these events on....feel free to call....or e-mail....carrier pigeon would do...I'm fluent in "smoke signal" just tell me where to come pick it up
