The longest and toughest bicycle stage race in the world leads through Russia, the largest country in the world! 15 stages, 8 time zones, 5 climate zones, 9105 km, and 77,000 meters altitude in 25 days make this race unique! The route leads along the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow via Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk (this year for the first time), Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Svobodniy as the finish of the king´s stage. Stage 14th started for the first time in Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk to Vladivostok.


So far, only 5 athletes from a total of 20 solo starters were able to complete all stages of this extreme bike race. 2015, the Belgian Kristoff Allegaert as the winner and the Englishman Steve Harvey, 2017 Alexey Shchebelin as the winner, Pierre Bischoff in second and Marcelo Florentino Soares in third! 7 cyclists were not able to ride to the end.
