I have an old Cruzbike Quest with a shock absorber at the top of the fork . Last weekend I was in a relay race and riding on some fairly bumpy "chipsealed" pavement. It seems as though something in the fork assembly broke or dislodged, and my steering was suddenly limited to between 25 and 30 deg. to the right. needless to say it's un-rideable. I've done some dis-assembly, and one (of two) semi-circular bits came out, but the other is still in place, and i can't get the entire assembly out of the steering column.
