It's supposed to be a flat, fast course according from friends who have ridden it before. As it's not far from Charleston, I imagine it will be flat as a pancake. Now would be a good time to be near a shop that rented Vendettas.

Thanks Guys!

Larry and Doug,

Thanks for the encouragement. I haven't ridden this far since 2011 when I did The Assault on Mt. Mitchell, but luckily no mountains to climb. I'll let you all know how it went.

100 Miles Done...what a blast!

I will post my ride report in the Ride Reports forum soon, but let me say that it was a great time and I received several compliments and questions about the Silvio. One cyclist from the USO on the Ride 2 Recovery campaign was particulalry impressed as she has ridden with countless American soldiers who have overcome obstacles in their war-inflicted disabilities, some of whom ride traditional recumbents. More to come soon...

Eric,

Thanks for mapping the course. I could have used this yesterday as I got too far ahead of the group and took a series of wrong turns that added to my mileage. I did still get there before the guys I was riding with :)
