I like it and would like to test it. I have to say that I like it more than electric systems. I think that moving indexing to deraileurs is smart. One friend of mine told me that wired 11 speed Shimano systems are so sensitive to small moves of wire that you cannot setup it to work correctly booth in winter and summer due to thermal expansivity of wire.
I think that this also may be done with wires so in future thay may make chaper wired groupset.
Only limitation I see is that It will probubly not work with my 40 tooth cog.

Indexing at the other end. The Disraeli gears manufacturers should have thought of that long ago. Hub gears do it.
Do not worry about fluctuations in wire-tension. Use a friction shifter. I like mine.
