S30 Complete (late-model) for sale

This is a pristine like new example of a late-model Cruzbike S30. It was originally purchased as a “Complete Bike” (rather than just a frameset), it’s virtually unused (less than 200 miles, maybe less than 100), and it has all original parts as built by Cruzbike.

Here are the specs:
Cruzbike S30 late-model frame with standard length chainstay
SRAM GX 10 speed rear derailleur
SRAM Rival front derailleur
FSA Omega crankset 50/34 with 165mm arms
SRAM 10 speed cassette (36 tooth large cog)
SRAM Apex integrated brake/shifter levers
FSA Gossamer brakes
Velocity 700c disc-ready wheelset with Deep V rims
Standard Cruzbike headrest

Extras:
Cruzbike Headrest Cage Mount Kit
Two Cruzbike bottle cages
Cruzbike Sling Pack

I bought it from the original owner, who tried to ride it a few times and then returned to other bikes. It’s the nicest and most beautiful bike that I’ve ever owned. The ride, of course, is fantastic. For folks unfamiliar with the bike (not so likely here!), this was Robert’s helpful assessment: https://cruzbike.com/blogs/blog/the-new-s30-robert-holler-rides-and-reports

I’m selling the bike because the kind of riding that I do (e.g., bike path, slow climbing, being slow in general) isn’t making good use of the bike. I’d rather that the bike get used for all the amazing things it can do, and I have bills to pay. In addition, I am lucky to have an original Silvio 1.0 bike, which serves my purposes and that I plan to keep as long as I can ride it :).

I have high-resolution photos that I can share via email. The photos here were taken with a flash, which can create visual artifacts (the appearance of things that aren’t really there). I’m happy to take some outdoor photos in the sunlight.

The bike is located in Fort Collins, CO. Though I’ve shipped bikes before (had local bike shop pack and I sent using Shipbikes/FedEx), it’s always nicer if someone can check out/purchase a bike in person. While I’ve only been in the Cruzbike world for the last year or so, I’ve been riding recumbents for 17 years, and I’ve been on the bentrider online forum almost as long.

With regard to price, I don’t have a good handle on what would be appropriate, especially given the rarity of this model and the like-new condition of this bike. For this S30, I thought of posting it at the price of a new Cruzbike frameset, which is $2950. But, I’m totally open to offers. Please don’t hesitate to make an offer or to ask any questions.

Thanks,
David

Thank you, Craig! I appreciate it, and I agree.

If one can afford it, perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to have a backup/spare S30 :).

In any case, I really am happy to consider any offers.
