STEERING TUBE HOLE COVER
My Silvio S30 v2.2 made constant, loud woo-woo flute-like noise, pitch jumping up with speed. Perhaps a design error that would not be evident in static CAD drawings. Or it may not happen depending on the airflow around different model front chainrings.
The immediate source for me was air blowing past the big hole in the back of the steering tube.
Overview photo below: There is no problem with the little hole on the small tube in the overview photo. Look to the left in the frame for where the close up photos zero in.
The fix is easy and free.
Two fix photos: Before and after the black tape covering the noise-making hole in the steering tube.
Parts:
$0.00 Roll of black sticky tape, but any tape you already have should do.
