It is important to ensure your wrist is in line with the arm when you grip the handlebar. If it is twisted (up or down) it may strain due to the rythmic push/pull nature of the FWD moving Bottom Bracket system.

I'm looking into installing a TT base bar with a curve so i can install my brifters, this negates the reach of the road type handlebars, and drops it all quite a bit. It's going to be either this or a curved slider.
