Hello all. I came into possession of an S40 a few months back. I have ridden it for less than 10 parking lot sessions and have come to the conclusion it wasn’t for me. My rides will never be long enough to enjoy the seating position advantages.
I’m not positive of the year of the bike.
It does have paneers and the paneer rack.
It has hydraulic disc brakes. It comes with new handlebar tape as it is currently not taped, previous owner was in the middle of re-wrapping them when they passed.
Shifts fine, one brake squeaks, and the front brake is low on brake fluid because I accidentally let a little out not knowing how to adjust them. But a simple tune up would fix all that.
