Seatpost needed...

OK, I've been out looking for 27.2mm seatposts to suit my conversion. The original is so short, it will not reach the seatback rails when minimally engaged in the frame. I've found aluminum (6061) posts up to 300mm but would prefer steel as I'm likely to need a bit of bend. All the steel posts I've found are 7/8" (22.2mm), including ones which are already bent (lay-back). I guess I could go with a 2.5mm shim (or something like that).

Anyone with a source for steel 27.2mm dia. seatposts?

Just when I'd almost given up...I found a kit for converting from 27.2 to 31.8!

I might pick up one of the "lay-back" posts too...to try a bit more seatback angle. Available in 7/8 and 1" but not 27.2. However, @ $12, I can experiment.
