Securing front wheel

Since I back my bike into parking racks, it would be pretty difficult for a thief to steal the back wheel, but I am looking for a solution to protect my front wheel.
  • I have used Pinhead locks, on my other bikes and have a spare rear one, but I discovered that my Q45 uses an even longer skewer. Looking at the Pinhead site, I see they offer a special extra longer model for people that tow trailers.
  • Abus has their new gravity released skewer, but they aren't long enough. They also have Dutch style frame locks, which might fit on the fork crown.
  • I could carry a cable, to use with my U lock.
At this point, the extra long Pinhead is looking best, because I don't need to deal with multiple keys and locks, each time I lock-up and it doesn't weigh any more than the OEM skewer. What are others doing?
