Senior Games Opportunity?

For Tribe members over 40, and especially over 50, I got this e-mail from the Oklahoma Senior Games Coordinator:

I want to contact Maria Parker to give her information about the Oklahoma Senior Games. We have a recumbent bike division for adults ages 40+. 50+ can qualify to go to NSGA competition in Albuquerque in June of 2019. The date for our competition is Sunday Sept 16 at Lake Stanley Draper. We will have 5K and 10K Time Trials and 20K and 40K Road Races. Our website is www.okseniorgames.com Please contact me (727) 776-1877

What I think this means is that anyone who wants to can participate in the OK senior games and qualify for the National Senior Games in Albuquerque in June of next year. This is a change from previous years when there were no recumbent friendly events at the National Senior Games. I'd love to see some Cruzbikers there!

Maria, did you not once report that you live close to, or know, the NC Senior Games director? Lets see, depending on the age group breaks, Cruzbikes could do well in several categories here in NC!

Found this on their (Oklahoma) Website:
NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES QUALIFYING RULES

2. Recumbent and Enclosed Recumbent are not National Senior Games qualifying events.

:lol the idea that I could partake in 6 years is hysterical

I’m a grandfather and the fun I have on my vendetta is timeless. Enjoy your relative youth Jason.

Life is beautiful.

Wish we had events as regularly as you Americans.

When I retire I’ll organise my own and give something back.
