serial number?

I was looking over my V2K, and I don't see a serial number anywhere. Is there usually one, and where would it be?

Usually it is stamped in the metal under the Bottom Bracket

?? is it the same on the V2K frameset ??
On my Sofrider it was where the BB would have been on a MTN bike.

It should be on the underside of the BB at the boom.

Yep, there it is! The new BB position, not the former one. I thought I looked there, but apparently not very well.
