Cool! I noticed a pretty dramatic drop-off, but my legs are longer than yours... I'd guess 155's are just titch too short. I'm going to try 165s and see how those go.

Well now.... Here we go. This morning, coming in to work with the short cranks, I averaged 18 mph. Not quite what I got out of the 175s, but not far off. Thruthfully, it could be attributed to the 50 tooth big ring opposed to a 52. Maybe the answer is to get used to one length and stick with it. I have a set of 170mm Campy cranks. I think I'll try those this weekend and see if I'm happy with those.

This product is based on the assumption that you need maximum effective teeth when the crank is half way down. Try this: jog lightly on the spot, how much bend do your knees have? Not much is it? The designers of this product need to reflect on this fact.
