If you buy the battery from them, they solder the connector onto the controller for you - I recommend this as I melted a connector attempting to solder it.
This is the only motor I know of which can be used with thru-axles. It is also an excellent motor - 2/3 the weight of any other direct-drive motor - quiet and durable.
You choose your axle adapt0r with the motor - for Cruzbikes, this will be 9mm QR or 12mm Thru-axle. I am using one of these on my 2021 Q45 conversion, and it works well (but requires a custom left axle adaptor to avoid slicing the motor cable). I chose the slow wind version - @Tortue is using a fast wind one.
I had them build my wheel, and chose 26" as that permitted 2.0+" tires for my Q45 (26" with 2.0" tire circumference is a bit smaller than 650b & 1.65" provided as stock - I think I can actually fit 2.13"). They can supply 650b rims as well, and I figure they know how to lace them.
