Silvio for sale

I recently traded my trike for a Cruzbike Silvio and now I have realized that my child trailer will not hook up to it without some modifications and I do not want to take a chance on doing something that will alter or hurt the way it is meant to preform. There is a certificate under the seat that says it is one of the first batch of 12 made in August 2007. I think that I need to get a Quest with a rack and set it up like John T did his for my son. I will sell the Silvio for $2500.00 or I will do a Quest plus cash on your end. I really need something to ride where I can take my son with me because my wife cannot go very far pulling him. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow. If you need more information just let me know.

Thank You,
Jon

I think this price is rather expensive compared to other bikes of this category. I checked some information about that on Boise classifieds and that's how I got to this conclusion. Please share if you're willing to drop the asking price!

I'm curious to know what one sees as other bikes in this category?

http://boise.idaho.yourlist.com/classifieds/recumbent%20bicycle

Here we have some steel frame el-basico bikes, illustrating the cause 'when too much steel is never enough'!! None suspended, none with any kind of performance pedigree that I know of. The aero advantage of being recumbent is squandered with a multiplicity of elements hanging in the breeze. None are of any particular note. Whereas, Silvio was ridden over 240 miles in 12 hours to set the woman's recumbent record. Silvio has adjustable front air suspension, dual carbon fiber chainstay, a Titanium rear suspension link, and is built in 7005 T6 alloy and equiped in this example with quality, and I mean quality road bike equipment.

Or were you looking at other comparisons?

You can find...

Old Chrysler minivans and Ferraris in the same classifieds.

They will not perform the same way.

And they will not sell for the same price.

Not withstanding,

Toyota Corollas seem to have a higher second hand resale value and there always seems to be fewer available when you want one.

Or in my previous feild, (interest) no pun intended, clydesdale horses, when I didn't need another one they were cheap as anything and plenty available. Soon as I had to buy another it was like everyone new and the price went up and so few available.

When you buy a second hand CB you are stopping someone paying less for it. So what you pay is right, more or less.
