Wielder of the Rubber Mallet
It's been far to quiet in our Garage lately.... So the building of Mrs Ratz's Training bike has begun and the Slivickr is about ⅓ done.
Clean up the rusty bolts just like in the Quickr thread; paint and vanish; dry with hair dryer to save time.
Bang on frame with Mallet (required step); install 50mm extension; touch up paint so the blemishes are all gone, rescue the spare wheels from the basement; add in new cranks and brakes; and she rolls down the hill pretty nice.
Tomorrow or Wednesday we'll cable it up with derailleurs and brifters and see how it rides. Then off to the Kickr it goes for late day training..
