Sofrider vs TWIG

This maybe comparing apples and oranges. The specs of the TWIG is not as detailed as the Sofrider, so the sofrider appears better on paper. The big selling point of the twig is the entry level price $1249 and it folds! From a purely subjective POV, the twig looks more visually pleasing. Both the sofrider and quest have a unbalanced look that I can't get past. I'm still sitting on the fence about bents. Price is a big factor. Used cruzbikes aren't to be found in my area. I think the mental barrier for bents is the sticker shock!

Twig looks cute and if you

Twig looks cute and if you want a RWD stick bike that folds, I think it might be a good choice.

When I bought my Sofrider, I wanted to try the MBB FWD platform and I am very glad I did.

If you want to try MBB bikes for cheap, I highly recommend Cruzbike conversion kits.

I've stared long and hard at the TWIG, and look forward to testing it at the Recumbent Cycle Convention Nov. 1-3 in Pomona...Cruzbike will also be there :)

Cruzbike has the potential to make the slickest folder around, especially with the simplicity of the drive train...just wish they would!

We offer other folding bent, or is that just other "bent" models ;), so having a more affordable option then say the Toxy Flite at around $3k would be a good thing, as long as the quality fits the price point.
