Hello,
I bought this Soft Rider in the summer of 2012 here in Houston from the second owner. It is very clean cosmetically (a couple of rubs and a small paint chip) and performs as it should mechanically. The CatEye wired computer (included) shows 500 miles of which I rode 300.
I bought the bike in order to avoid sit bone, lower back, etc pain that I encounter on road rides greater than 30 miles on my LiteSpeed Vortex titanium. This CRUZBIKE eliminated all of the above symptoms - absolutely none of the usual pain.
My Soft Rider riding proficiency was ok after my first 50 miles in a large empty parking lot and on paved park trails. By the time I finished riding at the back of the pack for a couple of structured group road trips of 30 miles and then 50 miles, I was good to go.
The bike is great on flat and low grade hills. However, my conventional Litespeed allows me to conquer the long steep hills west of Houston and around Austin much more quickly by standing on the pedals. The CRUZBIKE will climb the same hills, but more slowly. I don't have room in my condo for two bikes, thus I am offering my SoftRider for sale.
I would prefer a local sale and I will deliver within a 50 mile radius of downtown Houston. Otherwise, I will have my local bike shop pack, box, insure and ship the bike. I will pass the packing and shipping costs on to the buyer complete with the bike shop's bill of sale.
Please contact me for additional pics. Thanks for looking.
