Yes, there was a post about it. He made an extension to get it to fix. He posts quite often, and i asked for blueprints of the part in the same thread.

But why would you want to do it? you will lock up the rear wheel pretty quickly.

Drag brake on long descents? :)
A disk brake is less likely to overheat.
Here is a link to some info on how to fit a rear disk on a Sofrider or Freerider.
Couldn't find the thread that Jon contributed to. Sorry!

John B,
The 23 rd day of riding through Tibet will be a 3,500m (11,500 ft) drop in 65 Km (41 Mls), on a twisting (lots of switch backs) WET gravel road with LOTs of Chinese trucks using BOTH sides of the narrow road, with NO barriers to protect you from a 1,000 m drop down a mountain side into a fast flowing river, so being able to lock up the rear in a slide and still have steering is important. The worst case would be for the front to lock up, the bike falls over and you slide over a 1,000 m drop!

I dont think the front lockup is so dangerous with a Cruzbike. But here's the method when riding down. Put your legs down and hold your feet close to the ground. Then brake with both wheels and optional, put your feet down too and let them skid over the ground.
