**sold** 2022 V20C for sale

After much deliberation, i've decided to let my V20C go. It's a freakin great bike, but it just doesn't suit my riding and area. This is a VERY fast bike (as others will testify). I otherwise ride an Ice VTX trike with aero wheels - and this sets PR's without even trying over the ice on the flat, and destroys on hills. It not only feels fast, it is quantitatively fast.

I've ridden less than 100 miles on this setup, so it's almost new. I did have one fall which left a small scratch on the bottom of the bars (Cornering on wet leaves - my bad)

Two options.

Option 1
Frame and original seat only - $4000 delivered anywhere in the US (I'll pay shipping).
I'll also include the Cruzbike headrest, light mount stub, headrest cage mount and utility post (There's over $100).
I will have to disassemble (ie, remove my current groupset)

Option 2
The lot. $6000 (I spent WAY more than this). We can work out delivery\pickup on top, this will be harder to pack. I'm in Davenport, Iowa, but willing to drive some to help out - let's talk if you are interested.

I configured this bike pretty well - there's still room to go a little faster (eg, a set of carbon wheels), but it's a beast right now.

Frame\Seats
Original V20C frame (Yellow) and seat.
Original seat pad and Ventsit pad.
Thor Composite carbon XL seat and Ventsit pad with Bachetta bag and Thor headrest - this is what is installed right now. Can separate this out if you a shorter and it won't suit - but it is a giant leap from the standard cruzbike seat for comfort.
I'll include my frame bag you can also see in the photos.
All the accessories for the original seat from above (headrest, mounts, etc)

Wheels\Tires
DT Swiss R470 Wheels with Schwalbe Pro One tires. Less than 100 miles on them.

Groupset -
Sram Dub BB
Sram Rival Axs groupset with power meter and hydraulic disc brakes.
Sram Rival Chain
Front mech - 48/35 with integrated left side power meter, 172.5 cranks
Rear Sram Force 10-36 cassette.
(The effective range of this groupset is wild - and after experiencing electronic shifting, I'm not sure I can ever go back)

Note, there two garmin mounts on the bike I will remove before sale.

You've peaked my interest. Nice machine! Option 2 interests me. Sounds like it's set up for a taller person. I'm 6'3". If you don't mind my asking, are you of similar height?

Hey - yes, i'm 6'2", though i'd consider myself longer body\shorter legs (not THAT short, but my body is longer than usual). There's plenty of room either way.

A key point here for the taller folk - I didn't work well with the standard seat (it ended in the middle of my shoulder blades) - the thor seat upgrade (and I know Cruzbike now has an adjustable seat) makes ALL the difference there.

+1 for Thor seat. Made the difference for me on V20.

I'm new to recumbent cycling, but have heard great things about Cruzbikes. Just wanted to be clear on option 1 - does it include everything to get the bike on the road or would I need to buy other components, like wheels etc.?

Hey Tuni, Option 1 gets you the frame (look at the V20 page here and look at frame only). You get the frame, handlebars and seat. You would need to get wheels, a full groupset (front & rear gears and mech), brakes and levers, plus a few odds and ends (cables, pedals, etc).

Option 2 is basically my personalized setup of option 1 plus all the bits.

Yes, we can work something out. I did a quote for another person, and it was around $200 with fedex, guessing the total weight to their location. I would need to remove the seat, wheels and handlebars to pack, but it wouldn't be a giant effort to reassemble.

You might be able to get it in a car with the rear wheel removed - I don't have a similar car though to tell :D.

Ok looks good. If you ship with fedex I could receive it at the Ogdensburg location. I’m new to this whole procedure. How is payment made for the bike and shipping?
