Does anyone know where I can find the SRAM DD push rod? I looked everywhere for it but couldn't find it.

Bike Friday maybe?

Bike Friday uses the dual drive on a number of their bikes. I didn't see the push rod listed on their web site, but you might try contacting them. I've found them very friendly and helpful whenever I've dealt with them (but then I was always talking to them about a bike I bought from them, so YMMV).

Any news I missed from SRAM ??

Any hard news... my imagination runs wild.

Shortage ??? End of product life ???

All the dual drive pushrod I had bookmarked seem to have dried up ??

Did yours arrive bent or missing Jose?

I know you bought your Quest from a third party but you might give Maria a call to see if she has any spares or other sources that may be able to help you out.

Bike Friday used to carry these .... else Aaron's

I got a replacement from Bike Friday a couple of years ago. At the time they were easily ordered from their web store page, but they're not there now. They do sell the clickbox and cover, so maybe ... It would be worth calling them.

Otherwise, try Aaron's in West Seattle: http://www.rideyourbike.com/internalgears.shtml

Or maybe you can straighten it?

I bent mine in the course of trying to put the bike on a riding stand. Before the replacement arrived from Bike Friday (see above), I carefully straightened the rod (soft aluminum) and found it worked well enough. Unless the threads are stripped or the rod's actually broken, that might be the ticket.

No, I didn't break or bend

No, I didn't break or bend it...yet.
But I am sure someday it will happen and I don't want to put the hub aside because of a missing spare push rod. I have already bought a spare clickbox.
I wrote BikeFriday but they didn't reply yet.
Just sent a message to Aaron.

Maybe having one made at a mechanic shop might also be an option.

Thanks!
