Strong interest in the Vendetta on BROL

In the past Cruzbike has come in for a bit of a caning (robust debate degenerating into disparing remarks) on the BROL forum. There are a number of members there who appear to be rabidly anti Cruzbike and MBB.

Bryan Ball, who runs the site, seems genuinely upset at the way Cruzbike owners have been treated in the discussion forums.

Interestingly, there is currently a thread on the BROL General Discussion forum titled "Your bucket list for bikes". The thread was started by a Silvio owner, who I think may also be a member of this forum.

To date 12 BROL members have listed the Vendetta on their bucket list. I don't recall such a strong level of interest in the Vendetta in the past. Seems to me that with the release of the Vendetta V2, more and more people are taking notice (including me).

I understand that Bryan Ball has requested a Vendetta 2.0 to review. He has favourably reviewed both the Quest and Silvio in the past. Hopefully we'll be reading a very favourable review of the Vendetta from Bryan a little later in the year.

There was most recently one

There was most recently one individual on BROL who always wanted to say negative things abut Cruzbikes, but he got "temporarily suspended" a few months ago and I haven't seen him back.

For the most part, BROL membership is pretty positive and accepting of MBBs in general and there are a lot of people who are excited about the Vendetta in particular (which I think makes sense). It is true that MBBs aren't for everyone, but I think that some (but definitely not all) who don't like them give up too quickly.

As long as we remember to promote it as a cool bicycle and not the next great religion, I think Cruzbikes are only gong to become more and more popular. :D

Funny you should post this,

Funny you should post this, as I was going to. I started the "bucket list" thread and also noticed the number of Cruzbikes listed. My enthusiasm tends to be contagious, and as a female rider, I think some of the guys are now thinking they have to jump in and try a Silvio or Vendetta. I think their interest is peaked for sure.

Bryan has been very supportive. But his review of the Quest pointed out what best about Cruzbikes. They are so fun to ride!!

The first bicycle was invented in 1817. I truly believe that John has reinvented the bike in the 21st Century. His focus is clear. To make it as efficient and ergonomically correct as possible.

Extra passionate

I notice that riders of great bikes tend to be passionate about their steeds. For example, Bacchetta CA2 and Carbent Raven riders rave about how good their bikes are.

But I have to say that Silvio and Vendetta riders appear to be even more enthusiastic and passionate about their bikes than most anyone else. I have to say that I find this very intriguing as someone currently in the market for a new ride.
