Recently got my newly ordered conversion kit delivered! Yeahhh!!

What do you think about this bike as a donor?

He, he ... I promise to satisfy your needs when I have pictures to share. :lol:

Today it is sunny and warm here in the southern Sweden (25deg Celsius).

How far south are we talking about? I've been there on my cruzbike for 2 weekends, from Malm? to Ystad and back.

I live in Svedala which is situated 20km east of Malmoe.
So I think you are actually passing by very close to,
if not spot on, my village when cruizing between Malmoe and Ystad.

Maybe we could met up some day when my Cruzbike conversion is
finished?!
I'll give you a hint when I'm ready.

Hi all!

I have had a great day out with my wife today.
Travelling to the west coast of Skane which is the
southern county of Sweden where we found a great beach
(recommended by our oldest daughter).

And can you believe it?!...I GOT ONE!!!
Yes, I got to buy a good nice mountain bike to use
as a donor to my Cruze bike conversion!

The dealer is actually a motorbike dealer and they
are selling out all bicycles to get back to their
motorcykle business.

They had reduced the price of this bike from
580USD to 270USD...so I have got a brand new bike to
start with.

I will get back with more information as conversion work
progresses, but in a new thread under the "Conversion brag"
topic.

It's pretty close, but maybe not through. I biked along road 101? through Andersl?v? I do go through Svedala when i take the train.

Again thank you all for your quick support...it's invaluable!

JonB...I'll invite you for a meeting as soon as my conversion is done.
Then we can compare your Sofrider to my conversion type.

Finally I hereby close this thread from my point of view and as mentioned
before, I will come back with information about my conversion.

Tomorrow I will go to the Azores with my wife for a week vaccation.
