test ride?

A good place to start is by visiting http://cruzbike.com/locals and finding a Cruzbike owner near you. I can't speak for everyone, but I have met a few Cruzbike owners who are happy to allow others to try out their bikes.
If you're ever in the Tri-Cities of Washington (not sure why you'd do that, however), I'd gladly let you take mine for a test ride.

It looks like Portland is the closest city with people that have cruzbikes, which is about 3 1/2 hrs away.
I gotta get more serious, then find the cash, then start begging folks in the Portland area for a test ride! Ha!
I've got a tour easy LE and one local bikeride time a couple of taller riders were asking about the bike. I didn't hesitate to let them take it for a spin. A good time was had by all!

I grew up in Oxnard and still have family & friends in that area. I may take you up on your very generous offer. Thank you! I'm gonna keep an eye on this board and start saving my pennies. I have a gut feeling that the cruzbike is the bike for me.

Take the advise that many gave me over the years. I waited for over 6 years to try a CB. I spent a great deal of money, but at least I bought used to save money. I road/ owned every style made. Buying used is smart if you want to save money. Yes, it is a hassle to sell the machine, but in the long run, not so bad. I talked to many CB owners over various forums etc, and decided I have to give it a try. I happened to find an owner of Silvio 1.5. I even lucked out and He drove the 100 miles so I could ride his bike. There are used cruzbikes that come up for sale here and on Bentrider online.

I should check this more often. I live in San Francisco, and have an electrified Sofrider and Quest, as well as a stock Silvio 1.5. It's really only practical to test the Silvio if you happen to be around the same height (5'7") because it's quite an undertaking to adjust.
