Wanted to say thanks to the community with a special thanks to buyagain. Last Tuesday I picked up a 26" Avalon (just like buyagain's) and stripped it down to parade rest. Wednesday the kit showed up and I started the build. The biggest problem was not having BB or crank tools, but I went to order them from my LBS because he does not have any in stock. He was kind enough to let me use one of his and I pulled the crank off the Avalon and then trying to give him some business I took my bike in to let him pull the cranks and BB. The LBS stripped the drive side crank, so I had to get the grinder out and grind off the crank I wanted to use and order a new one (does not have any in stock). To shorten this long story I have a total of 6 hour in the build due to working sixteen hours (with the drive) Thursday and Friday The bike is complete except for the seat because I need to cut and weld the seat tube. I wanted to say that the bike shop down the road from were I work had all of the parts and tools I needed to finish the bike.
Thanks for all the information here, I will post pictures next week when I get back from taking a long weekend in Michigan,
Rod
