The next generation Cruzbike?

That's impressive, and unexpected. I run a 28mm tire on the back, but on a Wheelworks Maker carbon rim with a 17mm internal width it runs things close. I run 25mm on the front because my measurements suggest there would only be 2 to 2 mm clearance with a 28mm tire. Although I really would like to run 28mm on the front, I just think that is insufficient clearance to be practical.

Clearance on the fork crown should be tight but not enough to rub but I can't comment on clearing a rim style brake because I'm using disc brakes.

I’m running Pacenti Forza rims with 28mm Schwalbe Ones - plenty clearance front and back top crown. Lower crown tight. Disc brakes.

I believe a narrower rim makes a wide Tyre bulge more (I may be wrong). I have run 28mm on my Chinese carbon rims (not sure width), disc brakes. It was very tight on my old school yella V. So I stick to 25mm not

Actually I'm pretty sure you're right, on reflection. A narrow rim would force the tire up higher, while a wider rim would cause the tire to spread wider and not raise so high.

Not have been aware of Cruzbike when the V20 was released maybe some veterans remember. Was there any
advance notice or did it just suddenly appear. Some companies telegraph upcoming releases to there customer base
so I just wondered if anyone knew how Cruzbike handled this.

I have not been around long enough to know this information, but there are those that have...

I say we each just build one and present it to Cruzbike for consideration!:eek::D
