Yes, I was wondering about the recline.
The seat pan is in the ideal position so it is staying put.
Visiting my LBS tomorrow I will explore the idea of bending the seat post.
15 Degrees is the figure I have seen elsewhere, any ideas on that theme.

You could try putting the seat post on the inside. This means completely dismantling the black thing the seat post comes into, and put it on the reverse way such that the thing the seat post goes into is facing forward and not backwards.

If the seatpost is steel, you can simply put it in a vice, heat it with a torch to cherry red at the bend spot and using a cheater bar, bend it Just don't force it; wait until it's hot and pliable, or else you will put a wrinkle in it. After you are satisfied with the bend, throw it in a bucket of water to quick cool it. The rearranging of the seat clamp that Jonb mentioned works, too. I ended up doing both to mine.

You're running a mountain triple, right? Like a 48T big ring? So, if that's the case, you can get away with 11-28. That should be way more gear than you need.
