Well, the truck just came by my work and dropped off a package. A big package, with "Cruzbike" written all over it! Components are ordered, wheels are ordered, basically the entire bike is on it's way, piece by piece. Stay tuned for a build thread.

Absolutely. I live in Southern California, where porch piracy is real. It’s become the state pastime, I think. I have everything delivered to work.

I think I just told everyone my problems. just bought Chinese envious carbon wheels.

The porch piracy thing is sad. Even sadder is, California being a catch and release state, the thieves don't even worry about security cameras and such. Worst case scenario, they get a hot meal and a room with no view for a night, a slap on the wrist and back to business the next day. They're known to just follow brown trucks around, especially at holiday time. Really sad. That big old Cruzbike package would be especially attractive, though you are right, they wouldn't know what to do with it. They'd still take it.

Components haven't arrived, yet and aside from assembling the frame, there isn't much to do at this point. For this reason, the box has set unmolested until last night. SWMBO couldn't take it any longer, so I cracked open the box and we looked it over. The orange is a nice color and I can't wait to see it all together and rolling down the road! I'm pretty sure that at least the frame will get assembled tomorrow (Saturday). Hoping components come in today.
