Does anyone know a source for the thru axle tool that stores in the axle? Love to pick up an extra one.

I'm not sure you can order it from this web site, but maybe it will help with your search:
https://www.fulchee.com/en/product-...ke-Gravel-Road-MTB-etc-STI-1000-STI-1200.html The CB came with the 6mm/T25 version of the tool.

It's a neat little piece of kit but mine broke several months ago on a particularly tight axle and I find I don't miss it. The 6mm hex on my multitool works better in removing the axle so this tool was somewhat redundant.
Thanks. I sent them an email asking where it can be purchased from. I will post an update if I hear back.

You can send an email to CruzBike support and ask to order one. They will charge you $20 and will send you an invoice. This may not cover the cost of shipping. BTW, my Q45 uses a T40 bit for the axle, not a T25.

We do have those :) its a combo 6mm Allen/T25 for the rotors and caliper bolts

The Axles for my Q45 came from CruzBike. They were ordered by Larry Oslund and shipped to me. You're saying the normal thru-axles use a 6 mm wrench?

This is the Cruzbike-supplied thru-axle. The combination Allen/Torx wrench slides into the hollow end of the axel. It’s such a clever design, I don’t know why I can’t find it on-line anywhere else.
I personally keep an Allen wrench in with my tire change stuff.

The end is a T40? Hmm I haven't seen that. I heave only ever seen the regular 6mm Allen version.

I stand corrected. I had to look at the axle face with my camera and blow it up. It is a 6mm allen head. I've been using a T40 torq wrench on it and it fits perfectly. I'm lucky it didn't strip. I don't know where I got the idea that it was a torq bolt. Glad you guys straightened me out on this.
