torque values for Silvio construction

I'd appreciate knowing the final torque values for completing my Silvio.

Up until now I've simply snubed things down, but the time is coming when I'll want to do the final turns. What values should I use?

Thanks.

The fasteners on the Silvio are generic stainless steel fasteners. In some cases they thread into aluminum. Usually a good rule of thumb is to tighten them with a standard-length allen wrench until they are as tight as you can comfortably get them (e.g. you are not bending the wrench).

Bear in mind that a "click-type" torque wrench is less precise than a dial-type, and they tend to err to the tight side.

See these references for typical torque values.

The only thing I ever torque is my wife. She gets torqued when I don't take out the trash and she gets torqued when I leave the toilet seat up. Personally, I wish she'd put it back up when she's through, but i keep my cool about it.
