Arg. Somehow I've managed to prang the paint job on my new Silvio--probably, given the location, when I had it clamped in the stand (even though I used a towel for protection).
Anyway, I don't know much about these kinds of things. Does anyone have any advice on touching up the scrapes? Some questions:
- is a sequence of sand->prime->paint necessary for touching up, or just paint?
- is spray the only way to go, or will brush-on produce a decent result?
- Do the good folks at Cruzbike sell the stuff? If so, how can I obtain?
- If not, can anyone recommend something that could approach the high gloss black finish? Maybe just a good old can of gloss black Rust-o-leum will do the trick.
I'm not looking for perfection, just a decent patch job.
Thoughts appreciated.
