I have 1.95 on the front and a 1.5 on the rear. I guess these tires are designed for road and trail as most of the tread is on the side so it provides a smooth ride on the road and traction in soft dirt. I thought the leaves would be a problem climbing the hills but just took it easy, especially going down and stayed off the brakes.
Hello-- are you on vacation in Vermont? Or are you back in Florida? I live in Burlington and have been wanting to test ride a Softrider now for quite awhile. If you're still up here, I'd love to take your bike for a quick spin. I have about 20 years of experience riding short- and long-wheel base Rans recumbents, so I promise I won't crash your new ride!
