In February of 2021 I purchased the new 2021 Q45 and made several upgrades to it including adding 700c wheels with 28mm and 35mm tires, which fit perfect. I kept the wheelset for another bike but the following parts were used for less than 100 miles and fit and work perfectly on the Q45. I ended returning the bike to Cruzbike due to issues with comfort.
I am offering the following parts at 60% of my retail cost plus shipping with insurance from 95818 at actual cost. My original retail cost is in parentheses. I recommend USPS priority mail but the buyer can choose shipping method. All parts, except brake set, in original boxes and will require USPS priority medium boxes. If the original box is not shipped some parts will fit in a small box.
The stock crank on the Q45 fits 2 chainrings if you remove the chain guard, plus you can reuse the original chainring bolts.
SRAM 50/34 10 Speed Black Anodized Chainrings $38 ($64.49) for the set. These 10 speed chainrings are perfectly compatible with the 11 speed setup on the stock crank.
SRAM GX 2x11 Left Trigger Shifter for front derailleur $21 ($34.81)
SRAM Rival 22 Braze-On Front Derailleur $26 ($43)
You will need to order the Cruzbike front derailleur stalk.
SRAM GX 2x11 Speed Rear Derailleur Black, Long Cage, with X-Actuation. $68 ($114)
Unfortunately, the stock rear derailleur only works with the one speed front chainring.
The 2x11 setup described above gave me some the crispest shifting of any setup I have ever used in over 40 years and many bikes.
Shimano XT BL-M8100/BR-M8110 Flat Mount Hydraulic Disc brake set including front and rear levers, hoses and calipers. This is a ready to use bolt on set for the Q45. You will have to disassemble the rear hose if you want to run it through the frame. I found the hydraulic brakes to have a smoother feel than the mechanical brakes. $160 ($267.77)
RockShox Monarch RL Rear Shock 165x38 with correct bushings for Q45 $175 ($292.54)
Very smooth ride and much lighter weight:
Stock KS EXA Form: 616g or 1 lb 5.8 oz
RockShox Monarch RL: 226g or 8 oz
A good deal of time was spent determining compatibility of these parts with the Q45. Everything fits, works well and is in great condition with low usage. Plus, you cannot beat the price. Thank for looking!
