Using new ABS Race Case with Suspension Adjustable Headrest

I just bought the new Race Case for my S40, and I hadn’t noticed that the product description of the Suspension Adjustable headrest says it is not compatible with the Race Case (it actually refers to the old carbon fiber race case). This is because both race cases as well as the headrest normally mount on the vertical portion of the stock tubes, as shown for the headrest in the first photo.

However, I found that if I inverted the headrest mounting hardware, I could mount the headrest upside down on the upper part of the stock tube, and the race case below it. It took some fiddling, but I was able to approximate the original position of the headrest pad. I had to put some padding over the mounting bracket, as my helmet tended to hit the bracket. Not elegant, but it works. I also added some adhesive-backed rubber strips in the water bottle holes to make the fit a bit tighter, and the have bottles stayed put over bumps so far.

Cool setup. How does it now look with all in place? A picture of the whole bike will be nice.
