It's a utility bike akin to the Sofrider, originally sold as a frameset only. Discontinued some time back. Cruzbike built up the last few frames in the warehouse and sold them as complete bikes. Stock photo:

He's including shipping in that cost, though. And he may have upgraded the derailleur--SRAM Rival seems a little higher spec than I'd expect for a V2/K.
