V20 brake rotor bolt interference

I tried to change the rear wheel on my V20 today and had a surprising problem. I encountered rubbing after seating the wheel. Thinking it was a misalignment of the brake caliper, I loosened the bolts holding the caliper, but found it was still rubbing. Closer inspection showed it wasn't the rotor that was rubbing, it was the bolts holding the rotor, rubbing against a weld attaching the chainstay to the dropout.V20 brake bolt interference - 3.jpeg

The previous wheel is a centerlock, and has plenty of clearance.

You can see where the rub occurred
inside the chainstay..

What's going on here? Did I mount something wrong? Was the bike designed only for centerlock brakes? I put the previous wheel back on, but what should I do here? Grind the offending weld down? Grind the bo

Thanks for that link. There is a heap of good info in that thread, and other threads and videos linked in that one. It's reassuring that others have had the same issue. I was measuring rotors, looking at the axle, anything I could think of that could have caused those bolts to rub, but it just a fat weld, interacting with that rotor. There was also a lot of information about the TRP HY/RD caliper too. I've struggled to keep them adjusted. Now I see a couple of things I can try if I decide to keep them.
