V20 Chainstay Length (Large)

What is the V20 chainstay length in large size? Is this from center of front wheel to center of BB?

I ask as I have been riding my Silvio 2 with the 100mm extension giving me about 545mm chainstay length and an almost horizontal boom as in the pic below. I am very happy with this setup for past 5 years and should I ever get a V20 (hopefully a used frameset) I would like to know what size chainstay for similar fit.

Since the V20 standard chainstay is listed at 495mm, I first thought I may prefer the large, but looking at picture of the V20 large chainstay - the boom is nearly horizontal when extended just in front of the front wheel - and there is no way I would fit that given my height and x-seam length.

I just measured mine at 23" even (from center of the BB to center of the skewer).
That comes to 584.2mm.

I'm 5'10+ (1.8m) with 43" (109cm) x-seam and yes the boom is horizontal and, just today, I was thinking that if I were to commute more often on this thing (or do any sort of group-road-ride) I should probably do it with the short chainstay - or get myself some flared bars for more leverage. Things seem a bit twitchy. :/

Hi Ivan,
Your Silvio is a keeper, are rare gem. If it was mine, and I had to change anything, it would only be the front triangle and replace it with a rigid one like the one on an S40. The rest of the frame especially that rear Ti leaf spring suspension is beautiful light-weight technology that is not easy to find. That rear suspension is perfect in places with less than perfect road surfaces like in my country.

@Lief - thanks for that info. I believe you have the Vendetta 2.0 - do you know if the V20 chainstay length is the same? If so, it sounds like the long chainstay will not fit me, and the medium one will put my BB in a less aero position than I currently am on my Silvio.

@ak-tux - that's very true. Furthermore, my Silvio is already at 27 deg seat angle - lower than the new S30 - and I like that. Perhaps I should look more into the chainstay lengths of the S30 and S40 and see if that could be changed. This would lighten the front end and perhaps stiffen it further given there would be no more air shock.
