Beautiful bike! I am the second owner and have had it 2 years. I hate to sell it, but it is too nice to just sit on my trainer in the basement!! I have gone to 100% riding my Catrike when outside.

I changed the RD to a long cage locking derailleur.Having a flat or moving on/off the trainer without being able to lock it is a huge pain, even using the zip ties. There is a J-tek 9 mech on the RD so the mountain derailleur “talks nice” with the road gearing.

50/34 up front, 11-32 casssette
3 cm Ventisit
Bottle cage mount behind the seat
X-eyed bag
Moose pack
Gator skin tires
Wedge for seat back. I found i have much more power being up just a bit.

One scuff on the seat on the left side and on the decal on the left. (See pics)

Will pack/ship CONUS at buyers expense.

Curious about the Jtek 9. How well does it work? Is it very smooth when shifting under a slight load? Looking at options for my S40 if I cannot get it to shift smoothly for my hill climbing.

Thanks Mathew Fy. Yes, was hoping to get comments from Tami or other Cruzbikers(have SRAM road shifters now). Hmmmm.....maybe a separate thread. Cheers.

Sry Randyc3….just got home from work! Mathew is correct, SRAM road shifters were not working well with the mountain bike derailleurs. It took some time to break it in but I love it! I was warned about a break in period from the shop where i got it. It allowed me to have a locking derailleur, and be able to put a larger cassette (easier gearing for hills) at a later date if i wanted to.

Sure! Where are you coming from? I could maybe do something this weekend, but I am leaving town next week and wont be back until April 11! Have you ridden a cruzbike before? If not, look on this forum, there is very good information on the steps to take to learn!

I've had a cruzbike of some sort, Sofrider or S30 since 2008. My current S30 is getting close to 10,000 miles.
