V20 Rival 22 Hydraulic Disk Brake Upgrade Completed

11CE4D0F-D845-492B-87DB-07DC0B1A2D1D.jpeg 55CCEA71-676D-485B-8966-6974510525FA.jpeg I got the V20 re-assembled and adjusted last evening. New wheelset is Light Bicycle CX36 Carbon with DT Swiss 240 hubs, Conti GP4000s 28mm tires, Rival 22 hyd brifters and disk calipers. Hope rotor on the front.
Plan a shakedown ride Monday on the Silver Comet Trail.
Really looking forward to the increased traction and stronger disk brakes for hauling the bike down from speed. (We have some steep, curvy roads here in NW Georgia.)

I'l be curious to hear if you can lock-up the 160s on that. I can't lock up mine, so I keep thinking about how to get a 180 on there...

Actually I am starting with 140mm rotors. If I am not happy with them, I could try a 160mm rotor on the front. But I only weigh 145lbs and hope the stopping power of the 140s will be sufficient.
